虽然有其历史意义，但其中大部分base包的代码是在是太繁琐且低效了，所以其中的大部分内容也只适合扫一眼而已。。

对R的基本概念，基本操作进行了大概的介绍，同时也大致介绍了R中统计学的基本操作，但是没有涉及太多统计学的原理，是初学R的必备书。书中代码不算多，并且网上有源代码，也有电子书，但是对于工具书，个人觉得还是买纸质书吧，可以多翻翻。在亚马逊上买的，书的质量也还不错。
