‘Austrians, it might be said, are a nation without a history, and Austrian history is a history without a nation.’ (p1) Since late 10th century, the history is presented chronically without emphasises on topics, even the WWI. Yet, crimes and reflections of the nation with the Third Reich are repeatedly argued, as well as relevant on-going impacts.
