读完《德国史》，实在找不出理由不立刻接上《奥地利史》。德奥的那种不分家感觉在政治、历史、语言、文化等几乎所有方面都是如此。极具鲜明对比的是，德意志长期以来是数百个邦国组成的松散联盟而直到19世纪才逐步统一成强大的德国，而奥地利则是在幅员辽阔的壮丽版图上一步步...  

某种意义上说，近代的2次世界大战都发端于这片土地。所以奥地利的低调就这么在历史中形成了。 哈布斯堡王朝像极了清朝，末代皇帝Franz Josef I为了保全国体在各种势力及民族间闪转腾挪，心力憔悴，最终走向崩溃。 两次大战间的维也纳人文荟萃，是永远的伤感的记忆，只能回忆，...  

原作者Beller的文笔还是很严谨可爱的，但是黄艳红老师的翻译真是不敢恭维，虽说准确性很高，但是无数的汉语从句和“的”与“了”的滥用，的确让人读到头痛，我的忍耐限度是一次最多读20页。后来换成英文版，阅读速度要比中文快很多，理解上也准确了不少。 　　 　　Beller...
