评分隻讀瞭《大都市與心理生活》等兩篇。齊美爾文風讓我想起弗洛伊德，且比後者更發散、活躍或富有啓發性。不過用今天社會學論文所需的論證看，文中很多都隻是有想象力的類比，不是推理或論證。“The deepest problems of modern life flow from the attempt of the individual to maintain the independence and individuality of his existence against the sovereign powers of society.”
