話說是這本書讓我理解矢量、角動量，以及數學之用於物理的閤理性的、、、

我對比過這本書（MIT指定教材）與高等教育齣版社的第二版《力學》中國的課本內容比美國的深得多（我選的是MIT提供三種難度力學最難的那門），而且相當多額外的補充內容，例如有一節是討論雙擺的。MIT的課程是完全按照課本教的，沒有超齣課本的水平，最多就是復習課（通常講解作業和答疑）時教授偶然說一些比較深入的。
