Life’s Library first book of the year! Reminds me of Walking Dead. I like the religion touch to it-didn’t think religion and sci-fi could go along. The scary thing is I can totally see this story become reality... the same way 1984 is happening. Now I need to read Parable of the Talents, I guess.

评分科幻小说课因为是个黑教授，后面的书好像都是Afro-futurism。九十年代可以拿星云奖的作品的概念拿到现在来看还是有点太平常了，就是世界末日大家去逃荒，让然后女主角搞出了一种佛教道教之类的几合一的思想。很多有关九十年代美国社会的隐喻，但其实我还是比较想看到更多非洲文化有关的内容。在library Genesis上找到了续集，反正不要钱就接着看吧。
