Absolutely one of the best I've read. I highly anticipate the TV series due this summer. I hope it is as good as Into The West. For me, female characters are more memorable. Anges, Ellen, Agiena, all strong, tender and loving. Of the male characters, Tom stands out, overshadowing Philip and Jack.
