Welcome to 44 Scotland Street, home to some of Edinburgh's most colorful characters. 轻松有趣的旅行读物，但感觉一系列人物设定良莠不齐，几个角色非常生动鲜活，也有几个感觉单薄缺乏说服力。之前不知道本系列已经出了9本，对自己想不想继续跟并不是很确定。。。

评分3星半吧，没他其他小说那么引人入胜。据说是连载的，难怪有些零碎，没事就读上一点，拿得起放得下的休闲读物。人物还是很典型的，在过间隔年的Pat，自恋的Bruce，望子成龙的Irene等等，可以当作了解文化的一面镜子。
评分有趣的当代爱丁堡众生图，低调的犀利，茶余饭后轻松一下的好书。出于报刊连载的松散结构也是特色之一，遗憾的是太多线索留待后续，独立性稍欠，却着实有助跟卖后续系列。
