很合我口味的知识分子写作。聪明，刻薄，幽默，结构对称，隐喻丰富，用连篇金句嵌套出了几出精彩的戏中戏。但后半部分过于拖沓，情节似乎也缺乏锚点，不少富有意味的片段都轻巧地滑过，比Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf一类的不朽经典还是差了些。

My familiarity with the European-style marriage dynamics, which is filled with adultery, cruel honesty and sarcasm, makes the plot seem a lit bit cheesy, but the wordplay is very fun to do.
