著者简介

吉本芭娜娜（1964－），本名吉本真秀子，生于东京，日本大学艺术系毕业。毕业后一度在餐厅当服务员。1987年以《厨房》获海燕新人文学奖，次年再度以《厨房》获泉镜花文学奖，后陆续获山本周五郎奖、紫式部奖等文学大奖。1993年获意大利SCANO奖。作品畅销，被翻译成多种文字，受世界各地读者关注，掀起“芭娜娜热”。

When it's translated into English, it's really weird

我真的覺得挺糟糕挺瞎掰挺無聊的，導致以後我可能再也不會看吉本，這個所謂是與村上春樹齊名的優秀日本作家的任何作品。那些所謂不倫戀、同性戀等等，在我看來，只是一個噱頭。爲什麽寫那麼多，因為太可惡了，這些噱頭騙了我錢，浪費了我的時間。哎。

aside from the ugliest book cover you'll ever see, the whole book is just too drama queen-ish for my taste, or blame it on the translation, feels really flat.
