always deemed a sense of self-deprecation and a modest dose of snarky observations essential in travel books however cant stand him being excessively paranoid and complaining at any possible chance informative if you want to know what it feels like travelling across Europe as a grumpy tourist

說句實話，看睡著瞭，但突然齣現的笑點又能把人振醒，隨筆寫到這樣也不錯瞭。

想瞭想，不能給5分，雖然真的很好看。我們對歐洲有時有種莫名的推崇，而從一個西方人眼裏去觀察歐洲，就有瞭不同的角度，甚好甚樂。bill筆下的歐洲，也象中國人一樣，有的官僚，有的不知感恩，有的不人性化，所以，看來全世界人民都一樣，我們也不要太貶低自己把吧
