她寫氛圍是一絕，很容易帶讀者入境，stone animals那篇裏好多場景真是想到就瘮得慌。這集子裏前四篇不撞型各有亮點，後五篇裏除the great divorce外，其他有的在氛圍上自我重復，有的在語言裏打轉感覺沒完沒瞭可以寫到天邊也可以隨時結尾（其實她挺會玩弄語言，一不小心就感覺收不住）。

作者的叛逆和無厘頭發揮得淋灕盡緻，有幾篇像Lull一樣，讓我有點想睡覺。這一本整體很閑散，情節都不緊湊，讓人著急，不過看完會留下奇異的印象。The Faery Handbag真是個憂傷又讓人迴味的故事。
