After studies at the University of Turku, Jussi Tuomola entered the world of comics. Since 1991, he has drawn several comics for magazines like Alpha, Myrkky and the Finnish Mad.His most famous creation is 'Viivi and Wagner'. This series started in 1997 in the Helsingin Sanomat. Thanks to the Finnish Sonera Corporation, 'Viivi and Wagner' is also the first comic strip to be viewed on a mobile phone. In 2002, a special exhibition was devoted to Jussi Tuomola during the Comics Festival in Angoulême, France.
