按田立剋的邏輯，愛、力量和正義在上帝那裡是一迴事，但三者的顯現又有複雜的辯證關係。阿田能如此順暢地切換神學語言和哲學語言，一直讓人慨嘆。愛之所以難理解，或許根本原因就是「沒有愛的就不認識上帝，因為上帝就是愛」(約翰一書 4:8)。這本雖然篇幅不長，但也不易懂，尤其是第六章關於政治的，因為外行所以就更加糊塗瞭。
