以前还挺喜欢吴修铭写的书，但是作为学术书籍，这种论述和结论都太保守。

掐头去尾的看了一下，回应了网络使世界扁平化、去国界、网络自治等早期的乐观主义。作者认为由于文化、语言、硬件等原因，网络仍受到地理，特别是国界的强烈影响。这一方面是网络商业需要迎合上述有地里有关的因素，更重要的是主权国家的强制力一直努力在塑造网络，控制信息的自由传播。技术决定论不过是幻想罢了，而ebay无需政府的所谓自发秩序完全忽视了其信用、商业都依赖政府权力的保障...
