上课断断续续读完了《失落的大陆》。我人在教室，心儿却跟着比尔.布莱森飞啊，飞啊，飞到美国去了。这比什么《红楼梦》的家谱有意思多了。 各种热情奔放的餐馆服务员，以及各种对着游客垂涎欲滴的旅游景点，还有那燥热的无尽公路，富有特色的城镇名称和当地口音，不怀好意的天...
評分Bill Bryson 的文字里太多机智与幽默，总让我哑然失笑。虽然他的段子多到轻浮的地步。他这一次开车穿行美国大陆，去了不少很无聊的小镇，可这经历被他写的妙趣横生。看完了，我决不会想去跟随他的足迹访问这些小镇，但是我一定会再去读他的书。

Bryson自成一派的調侃文風，印象比較深的是Cape Cod，還有卡波特的Cold Blood的原型地挺想去，旅程最後因為對Baseball players不再熟悉而遺憾收場，這股子sense of dislocation總算是畫上瞭句號。
