讀史使人頭暈

綫索清晰明瞭，非常適閤初學者如我……不過其淺顯易懂的用詞並不妨礙對於具體人與建築的深入洞見的錶達

大二讀瞭現代建築史就再也沒摸過survey book。國內的現代建築史有講過German Expressionists嗎？完全沒印象，Bruno Taut和Hans Poelzig超棒，romanticist的傳統。不過個人認為survey book應該是image based.

如果说大多数书可以用来作“碎片式”阅读，增加一点知识或趣味的话，这本显然不是。用约250页的篇幅要厘清现代建筑运动的历程，而且作为“Oxford History of Art”系列中的一种，必须浅显（事实上并不浅）易读，这样的难度大概由Alan Colquhoun来完成最合适不过了。 尽管定位...

有观点 而且写的比较准确 虽然是史书 但谈的基本是设计思想 所以读起来比较带劲 反正弗兰普顿和塔夫里这辈子估计都没法读了 这本书正好填补空白
