可能因為更接近法語，英文版翻譯比中文版還要齣色，前言留到最後摺迴來讀，簡直要起立給譯者鼓掌五十下。“I thought that the book was an experiment with the French language as such, and therefore as untranslatable as the smell of garlic in the Paris metro. But I was wrong. In the same way s the story as such doesn't matter, the particular language it is written in doesn't matter as such. "
