《明室》这本书很薄，我反复读了三四遍。因为每天都处于很嘈杂的环境下读书，那种概念化的文字我是看不进去的，所以第二遍读的时候才大概了解其架构。（书可以一遍又一遍地读，电影却不行，好的影评都不是看一遍就能写出来的，但常常我没有机会也不愿意多去看几遍同一部电影。...  

《明室》的最大价值在于隐喻了摄影的无凌两可性，无论是结束的时间及结束的时间中的将来时、研点与刺点都在向世人暗示着摄影里的那道“中性”的大门，在真与假、个性与共性、存在与虚无之间游离，这才是摄影本源的气质。
