讀得很流暢。Fromm認為，人最大的恐懼是moral aloneness，而自由的副産品就是孤獨。所以人在一定程度上是害怕自由的，被孤立的恐懼會迫使他們加入某個集團、政黨、運動，主動放棄自我。

我们可能都看了书名就要望文生义的猜测作者的立场与观点。就像看到Adam Smith写了《The Theory of Moral Sentiments》就觉得人家是“一手抓市场，一手抓道德，两手都要硬”，但是稍有常识的读者都知道《Theory》一书根本不是传达那个意思。这本书可能是继《The Theory of Moral...
