The main message of the book is that 'nature' and the 'natural' are concepts very much conditioned by their context, an approach quite different from the uncompromising stance so often found in the West.

一直覺得侘び寂び是哀的延伸，nature與human life本質是一樣的，多變，易損，且不完美；並且太感慨瞭日本這麼個natural disaster頻發的地方依舊能讓人民擯棄對nature in general的敵意並熱愛自然這種心態遷移到人生上完全樂觀阿treat trouble/death as part of life and still love it
