真是不得不惊叹这本书感觉都要把Kracauer, Benjamin和Adorno都写干写尽了。在细节的对比和考据里面的确是得出了一些很有价值的洞见，不过大量严密的学术考究让这本书可能只适合学者圈阅读了。

少有的详细论述了法兰克福学派中的电影理论的著作，克拉考尔，本雅明和阿多诺中又尤其侧重对本雅明的论述。甚至以本雅明为枢纽，沟通其他二者之间的电影论述关系。本雅明一章中将机械复制时代的AURA和一战后贫困的经验相联系，并与之后伯格森对现代成像技术带来的感知和记忆转变相联系，论述米奇的笑声和巴赫金的狂欢理论相勾连，都是从物质-身体出发的现象感知和自上而下的挑战。唯一不足的大概是最后一章阿多诺的确没有前面两人详细。所有的论述最后都统归于辩证影像之下

难能可贵的电影研究学者

只草草读了克拉考尔的部分，很受启发。1、克拉考尔早期关注的是cinema而非film，可以证明其电影理论中的空间观念；2、魏玛时期与美国时期对《街道》的不同判断证明了其电影观的流转；3、《电影的本性》是一本“去历史”的著作，对开放、偶然的推崇指向了更为广阔的“生命之流”。
