随手从学院图书馆拎出来的，作者非主流的名字让他的水平有些可疑——真是糟糕的偏见。从life on cellular level讲到mental functions，涉及的内容多而泛，乍看似乎博学，却找不到各个单元之间的深层联系。我只在无法用实践经验或逻辑来justify自己的理论时才会求助毫无说服力的analogy，而本篇作者干脆以一个“network”把一堆东西拼一起，不停重复那几句话，读到最后完全没看出个有建设性的结论。果然太over-arching的"unifying account"大多得悲剧收场。[看了一下高分解释。我只能说任何functional system都会有那几样基本构成和功能啊，然后很多内容都是心理学入门知识好吗……说到底一本书的价值在于原创性、想看纯知识去翻百科全书啊
