最近看书看得很快，难道是生活太空荡荡了？幸好Michael Connelly的thriller真的很不错。紧张刺激，外加上法庭上的唇枪舌剑。但我最喜欢的，却是Mickey Haller和检察官Maggie McPherson情感支线，一整部crime thriller中很少有的温情一笔却格外动人

这本legal thriller并没有特别thrilling的地方，最后的真相也并不是特别意外。寥寥几笔提了一下犯人作案和利用律师逃脱罪名的过程，但怎么想都有很多牵强的地方。在我看来整本书倒像是从第一天到最后一天的庭审实录，让我第一次直观并详细地理解了美国刑事案件审理流程和法官公诉人被告人律师的职责义务。trial.hearing. cross-examination. sidebar. Fifth Amendment rights. rebuttal 等这些单词的意思终于清晰了。
