个人以为这本书最精彩的地方不在于Ackman如何一步步凭借自己的分析及强大的信心战胜MBIA，战胜华尔街，而在于其对次贷危机前后种种现象进行了细致的描述 - 债务保险公司、投资银行、评级机构、监管以及投资者之间的Interaction被作者描绘的淋漓尽致。同时作者还用十分专业的语言描述了CDO, CDO^2, CDS, ABCP等等制造的过程。让我印象很深的是有一章专门讲述作者调查这些其中一个Tax Lien Deal的Collateral，简直趣味十足。与其说这是一本讲述Bill Ackman成名史的书籍，不如说这是一本通过Bill的视角来讲述次贷危机史的作品。
