虽然在引用史料方面有点不规范，但是真正写出了历史学家的个性，我在读了国内及国外N种版本的英国史，总是搞混中世纪时的那一段，起初我还不想看丘吉尔写的，但是一读确实放不下了，写的很生动，很有个性，把英国历史写得活灵活现，其中还穿插了很多英式幽默让人忍俊不禁...

这四本书,我花了很长时间才把它读完..一方面没有时间,大部是在每天坐公交车上看得,另外,刚好又碰上回家结婚的春节..所以...前后看完...三个月了吧. 我觉得翻译者的水平很高,一些句子译得非常精彩,用了很多漂亮的形容词,而且读起来很上口. 但是唯一遗憾的是,太多的外国...
