string theory是物理學領域最難最難的課題之一。雖然我不研究這個，但是感興趣卻讀瞭其中不少。的確是一本有趣的小書。不推薦無興趣，並且本身不懂string theory的人去看。否則意思不大。

I'm not sure if the author has used too many metaphors or analogs that are only seemingly appropriate, but I'm totally in line with folks who got more confused after reading this. maybe a sci-fi on string theory should be fun! Aug 13, Union Station B&N.

Steven Gubser是大P大名鼎鼎的粒子/弦论家，关系很好的小伙伴之前还试图套磁然而未成功lol。上个月刚开始读他讲自己aid-climbing惊险经历的那一段就传来Gubser登山坠亡的消息。。现实真的很魔幻，R.I.P 点评一下内容吧我刚刚看到第四章感觉总体挺有逻辑讲得也很清楚除了弦...

太难读了这本书讲的很多东西都特么没有明确的定义思维又那么跳跃根本就不是一个没有理论基础的人能读的书我靠感觉他就好像是在跟一个懂弦论的人讲弦论思维那么跳跃干什么！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！...

很努力的在理解其中的原理，不过还是有点深奥。可能需要再辅助的看其他的相关书籍，再回过头来看一遍本书。我觉得有一些比喻还是能帮助读者了解的。希望会有一些新的发现来推动弦理论。比如，引力波已经被证实了。这本书显然是写在那新闻之前。
