Conway, historians of science, roll back the rug on this dark corner of the American scientific community, showing how ideology and corporate interests, aided by a too-compliant media, have skewed public understanding of some of the most pressing issues of our era.

即使翻译有时候没有那么顺畅乃至文中有几处文字错误乃至文中所说的如图的图没有这本书还是很值得一读。让专业的人做专业的事，对事物抱有怀疑但是要注意度，不要沦为不可知论者，科学的圈子是人类科学的代表，我们可以相信他们，但是科学人员也是有研究领域，是有专长的。...
