Another stand-alone instalment of the family saga begun in Chasing Rainbows - After an uneasy start to their marriage, Cherry and Lance Melchior are now living on a small working farm. Its a very different life for both Lance, a once-rich playboy, and Cherry, a former kitchen-maid. But when Lances brother dies he becomes Lord Melchior, and must return to Bristol to run the family estate. This is a difficult time for Cherry, and the reappearance of her roguish brother, Brian, doesnt help matters.
