On a particularly odd day in the seemingly bucolic burg of Oslome, Ohio, the undead suddenly attacked.

When things got weirder we were left to wonder: Who or what was to blame for the plague? Why do zombies eat people? Can the balance of the universe really be upset by a pile of unplanted peonies or a smelly argyle sock?

These questions and more will be further convoluted as we follow those trying to survive the onslaught-and one another-all while wondering about one final question: Why anyone would call a television show

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

A.J. Redaumar made her first foray into the literary world in 1988, covertly penning scripts during the writer's strike for the short lived daytime drama One Life to Fritter. By 1999, disenchanted and broke from investing her lifesavings in Cloris Leachman skin cream stock, Ms. Redaumar enjoyed a startling comeback when her one-woman show, inspired by the career of GG Allin, Catty Wampus, debuted at the Saving Grace Playhouse in Wichita, Kansas, for an unprecedented six-week run.

Reclusive since the infamous 2001 onstage meltdown/breakup of her all-girl Oy band, Belching Üp Meat, Ms. Redaumar's Internet presence (screen name "AllisonChains") can be found on the British fan blogs "Don't Hate: Friends of Spandau Ballet" and "U.F.O.s Are Causing Global Warming," as well as on her own Wikipedia page, where she is a prolific contributor. Despite reported online rumors of her being spotted scalping Hannah Montana tickets, her current whereabouts remain unknown.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR'S "ANCILLARY PROXIES:"

Bob Hinton and C.W. Prather serve as A.J. Redaumar's "ancillary proxies." What we think this means is that they are Ms. Redaumar's official "bitches." Bob Hinton, as his alter-ego "A. Ghastlee Ghoul," has been a television horror host in Dayton, Ohio for over 20 years. His checkered resume includes writing, music, stand-up comedy, event organizing, Internet radio and lying about on the couch.

C.W. Prather is a writer and filmmaker, as well as founder of "Spooky Movie-The Washington, D.C. International Horror Film Festival." He and Bob spend an obscene about of time discussing zombies, squirrels, television horror hosts and Ken Kish.
