en excellent story!
评分4.5星。关于自我、记忆、性别、阶级、历史、殖民、造物者与创造者的一本书。Gray混杂了许多文学典故（莎士比亚、狄更斯、斯各特、托尔斯泰、《美女与野兽》），集合了各式材料（信件、画像、手稿等等），最终拼贴成一个对科学怪人的现代化改写。整个故事读着像一个俄罗斯套娃，不同的声音在不同部分交叠出现，最终把问题交给读者自己去决定：究竟谁才是可靠的叙事者？讽刺，有趣，又丰富，很特别的阅读体验。
