布朗温·H.霍尔（Bronwyn H.Hall）（1945—），现为加州大学伯克利分校经济学荣誉退休教授，荷兰马斯特里赫特大学教授。她的研究领域主要为技术变革、创新经济学以及计量经济学等。著有《知识产权促进经济发展》《创新经济学与新技术的前沿》等重要著作。

内森·罗森伯格（Nathan Rosenberg）（1927—2015），原斯坦福大学教授，曾任斯坦福大学经济系主任。他的研究领域主要为技术创新史、技术变革经济学等。著有《美国制造系统》《探索黑箱：技术、经济学和历史》等极富影响力的著作。由于对技术史的卓越研究与贡献，内森·罗森伯格于1996年获达芬奇奖。
