評分一个外国人，能把中国历史写成这样，这要经过怎样的艰辛啊。真的不容易。她的立场、背景与国人不同，但即使是斯塔福利阿诺斯也难免受西方中心论影响，这没甚的，可贵的是我们可以试着从另一个角度了解我们的历史思考我们的故事。虽有许多谬误但难免更多光辉。

评分Despite some minor errors, it is a great textbook for undergrads, very well organized and articulated, way better than her book on Chinese civilization. Easy reading with lots of fun.
评分雖然是劍橋簡明中華史，聽著高貴，其實內容不過是那麼基礎的。唯一有趣的估計就是每章結尾的時候作者本人對中西文明差異的看法，但太短也隻是簡單的論點，讀得不夠爽。要讀中華史還是彆這樣讀瞭。
