Clay Jenkins returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers several cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he’ll find out how he made the list. 挺引人入胜的，不过总以为最终会有Clay对身边人的改变的描述。
评分Really a page turner.
评分是在看完电视剧以后才看的书，书远没有电视剧精彩，在看Hannha录音部分的时候脑子里回放的全电视剧里的场景。这本书这部剧可以说是高中生活里很有可能发生的事情，看到有些评论说是无病呻吟也无可厚非，但给我最大的感受就是善待身边每个人因为他们可能在经历人生中最黑暗的一天，别到最后才来感叹we could all have chances. 另外，Clay和Hannah在剧中甜蜜的小细节在书里好像也没有，觉得Clay是真的给Hannah带来过快乐幸福和希望的。
评分还行，没有很扭转性的剧情，还是很教育性的题材
