really a confusing and hard-to-follow book which deals with anthropology, history and sociology, etc. A lot of modern theories. Nonetheless, the argument is really ground-breaking as people are always have some stereotypes about steppe people and their society.

作者不声不响的在回答为什么“我们”（欧美人）会走到研究内亚（甚至Afroeurasia）这一步，这个学术史的追溯至少能为全书带来四颗星，题目再给一颗，别的部分还没看希望能看完。。。
