著者简介

康拉德·菲利普·科塔克（Conrad Kottak），美国著名人类学家。本科毕业于哥伦比亚学院（Columbia College），1966年获得哥伦比亚大学人类学博士学位。从1968年开始，任教于密歇根大学人类学系，并担任系主任多年。密歇根大学人类学系是全美人类学三强之一，为世界培养了众多人类学者。科塔克教授不仅是杰出的人类学研究学者，也是优秀的教育家。1991年获得密歇根大学优秀教学奖，1992年获得密歇根大学杰出教学成就奖。他所撰写的人类学入门教科书，内容全面，通俗易懂，深受学生们的喜欢。他的代表著作有：《当下的过去：马达加斯加高原历史、生态和文化的变迁》《马达加斯加：社会和历史》《人类学：人类多样性和文化人类学探索》《人性之窗：简明人类学概论》《人性之镜：文化人类学简介》
