作为入门级的教科书而言，这本很棒：系统地介绍了现有的咨询理论流派；但也仅仅只能作为introductory book。就具体地细节而言，这本就像是那些流派著作的目录大纲而已，没有实在的具体内容，这就容易导致基于同一理论基础的不同流派在作者的介绍下，有的只是不断的重合的概念和不同的术语，让读者反而更摸不着头脑，看不到不同流派之间区别。
