In this text, Vernon Zunker integrates career counselling/development with mental health counselling. The idea that mental health and career counseling should be more closely tied together is gaining prominence. Historically career guidance and counseling has been taught separately focusing on career development theories and application.It is now becoming more obvious that career issues are closely tied to mental health and visa versa and thus the timing is right for this book's release.
