This is young Isaac Asimov’s first novel, full of wonders and ideas, the book that launched the novels of the Galactic Empire, culminating in the Foundation books and novels. It is also one of that select group of SF adventures that since the early 1950s has hooked generations of teenagers on reading science fiction. This is Golden Age SF at its finest.

讀之前期待太高瞭，讀完後反而覺得比較一般：算是披著科幻的皮講種族歧視還有科學學說和ideology之間的故事。

反派們各種想多瞭的那段很有趣。此外，Synapsifier處理後的老鼠走迷宮那部分，總讓我聯想到阿爾吉儂，從兩本書的寫作時間來看（Pebble寫於1947年，Flowers for Algernon寫於1958年），所以應該是Asimov啓發瞭Daniel Keyes？

可讀性極強，前半部分好像很無聊，但到中間就停不下來瞭，各種懸念、冷笑話，扣人心弦欲罷不能。大師就是大師

情节没有什么令人兴奋的地方，一个狡猾的教廷秘书自以为是的推测敌人的行动。不知道是不是阿西莫夫第一次提出心灵控制的概念。 把地球这个星际殖民的发源地设置成一个落后遭鄙视的星球倒是挺有意思的，不清楚从殖民开始到故事的时间隔了多久（几千年？），地...

阿西莫夫作品，必属经典！读这本书的时候，同时还在读刘慈欣的《三体》，虽然都是经典的SF小说，但是真的不是一个风格。如果说《三体》的节奏犹如现代的重金属乐一样充满恐惧死亡气息，节奏快，情节环环相扣，逼人心魄的话，《银河帝国》系列就如古典的协奏曲一般，松弛，优雅...

断断续续的将银河帝国系列间杂着全部看完，不知道是花了多久的阅读时间。从此以后，夜晚仰望时将不由得会把阿西莫夫的银河世界代入到头顶上的这片星空里，基地、川陀、地球......在每一片星区里幻想演绎出来的一章接一章的诗篇，似童话、似史诗、似传奇，浸淫在其间，能不叫人...
