迈克尔·克莱顿的最后一部作品，做为小说很一般，人物毫无生气，情节老套混乱，科幻的点子也是N年前的了。不过小说中对Micro世界的描写相当出色（什么是Micro世界？这个就不剧透了），如果单就这个描写给4、5星不成问题，但整个小说也就3.5星吧。
