The National Arts Club was founded in 1898 by "New York Times" art critic Charles de Kay as a gathering place for artists, patrons and audiences in all the arts. Eisenhower as well as art patrons like Pierpont Morgan, and Henry Clay Frick. This publication is the first presentation of this remarkable collection of early American artists.
