The ethical mind - fulfillment of one's responsibilities. Armed with these well-honed capacities, a person will be equipped to deal with what is expected in the future-as well as what cannot be anticipated. Without these "minds," individuals will be at the mercy of forces they can't understand-overwhelmed by information, unable to succeed in the workplace, and incapable of making judicious decisions about personal and professional matters.

评分学院要求的本学期必读书目。怎么说呢，乍看上去很有道理，但仔细想想也不过是用复杂的学术需要重复了一些老生常谈的问题。至于作者给出的方法论，未免有些过于假大空了。｜更新一下，考试之前老师给了一个这本书的提纲，理下来过后感觉它的核心内容很不错的。只是在读的过程中，因为有太多的例子和学术词汇造成了阅读的困难，所以未免觉得无聊。
