Now based in Berlin, Jurgen Drescher--who works with video, text, performance and sculpture--became known in the 80s Dusseldorf art scene for his multimedia object, "Konrad Fischer's Bar" (1981), which he produced collaboratively with fellow-Dusseldorf artist Reinhard Mucha. This volume provides a much-needed contextualization of the last two decades of Drescher's practice.
