在金融领域或者宏观经济方面的书，美国的比英国的多好多好多，可是有了对比才知道，美国的，即使是克鲁格曼这样的，都很机械，而英国的，在人文方面的考量就会明显有深度一些。资本主义的进步，或者生活在资本主义国家的普通人的福祉，其实就是在共产主义的“恐怖”下提高的，而共产主义的倒塌，也就是平民福祉裹足不前的时候了。看看各个国家的两大政党，即使偏左的，在程度上也远远不如共产主义，那么如何指望贫富差距不越来越大？

A good read, especially for those who want a plain-English and vivid account of what caused the 2007-9 financial crisis. However, not all the arguments are sound and solid.
