剛開始看時數度笑到齣聲，中間有點平淡，快結尾時高潮迭起，但情節又未免太過於戲劇化瞭。總的來說是很輕鬆易懂的小說，更深刻地瞭解瞭印度如今年輕人們的心態，也是本人首部完整讀完的英文小說！！太不容易瞭！！

评分這本書作者你可能不太熟悉，但根據他的另一部作品改編的電影《三個傻瓜》你可能記憶猶新，《2 states》為我們講述的是一個印度愛情故事，來自南北兩個邦的年輕人在大學相愛，但雙方傢庭的文化背景差異成為兩人愛情的羈絆，但兩人最終戰勝瞭睏難走到一起。它其實寫的是作者的自身經曆。一個印度人告訴我，奇坦在印度很普通，像他那樣的作傢數不勝數，看來我們還是不瞭解印度啊。
