A mother's amazing power...

在我的阅读经验里，小说可以有两种“深刻”：其一，壮阔、宏大、繁复，如《悲惨世界》和《百年孤独》；另一种，在小范围的时空里，在平凡人的身上，发掘出深刻的独特的意义，如福克纳，如劳伦斯。有些人向外扩展，有些人内省以寻找，两种都可以做得卓越——人心同样是一个深不...
