我感觉近年来读的pulitzer prize获奖作品，总是prose大于plot。作者用一种比较意识流的方式，刻画了一个deeply flawed yet deserving of empathy的女性形象。故事不好看，但是execution极其成功，字里行间那种美国白人小镇的窒息感，简直犹如作者反复描写的、无处不在的阳光和海岸。#9

这个封面色调很好看，可是这图和内容有半点关系吗。看完剧再来看书就会想编剧是怎么斟酌改变故事情节和顺序的，书里还有很多自己想象和发挥的空间，电视剧里人物就非常的直观，好在这个剧演员都演的很到位。
