To know how to read Lacan via this book, one has to know how to read Zizek first. Zizek tried to exemplify Lacan’s key concepts via literary or pop cultural cases, yet his writing style is always lacking clarity and the examples are not necessarily outlined clearly. This book may not help beginners that much. 3.5/5
