具体描述
Located in the spectacular baroque park of Wilhelmshohe, the Hesse collection at Kassel is one of the most impressive sights in Germany and houses one of the greatest collections of Dutch and Flemish paintings in Europe, including twelve Rembrandts. The Rubens collection is also extraordinary and there are fine examples of works by Bellucci, Bruegel the Elder, Cranach the Elder, Durer, Jordaens, Poussin, Schonfeld, Titian, Vrancx and many more. Continuing Scala's prestigious Masterpieces series on the great museums of the world, this is a beautifully designed book with informative text and superb reproductions of the paintings. As with all Scala books, it can be a pre-trip taster of the delights of the museum, an informative and elegant guide while visiting, or a beautiful reminder to have at home.
