"Nothing can be done to save us this time," the captain
of the sailing ship told Hudson in an anxious voice.
"Yes, it can," said Hudson. "Let s go to our cabins
and ask God to send a breeze immediately."
Hudson was on his way to China to tell the good
news about Jesus to the Chinese people. He had learned
to trust God at home, like when he gave away his last
coin. So he knew he could trust God now on the ship,
and through all the things that would happen to him in
China.
